Cpanel password protection hint pops up
Every time i try to insert a password on cpanel panel, whether it is for a new email, protected directory, ftp account , etc, the password protection
hint box appears and stops me from continuing to type the password. This will happen up to the 3rd letter. This is a cpanel bug. Here is how to fix it:
1- login to your WHM panel –>password strenght configuration.
2-set the default strength to ZERO.
3- make the Cpanel functions that are triggering this popup window inherit the default zero strength
4- set the ones that you think the strength must be high ex: FTP accounts to 20
5- save and test on cpanel
It turns out that if you set the default to 20, all functions must follow that 20 minimum, so you cannot manually set any to lower then 20.
hope this helped, just make sure you choose your passwords wisely
