iexplorer does not display my website correctly
I noticed many issues when it comes with internet explorer, especially with Joomla websites running too many java scripts on the same page. There seems to be limitations on the way it reads the css styles of different modules (the way Joomla display organize the content) at once, also running many JS scripts and effects makes IE slower and weaker. What are the solutions for this:
1- Never use internet explorer: Firefox always is best.
2- Minimize the amount of effects and JS on one page.
3- make sure you have the up to date version of explorer. check constantly on google ” Update my internet explorer”.
4- If you have Joomla make sure the plugin for IE6 (where there are lottssssssss of issues) is installed and enabled. This will give the users running IE6 a pop up message telling them they are running an older version therefore to update.
5- consult a designer/developer who understand CSS and ask him if he can solve the issue for you. // make sure to ask the cost of that first.
Until Microsoft decides to make IE a more reliable browser, these are alternatives to go about. The good thing is, there is a chance that Microsoft will be forced to install different browsers by default with newly purchased PC’s.
